Structural Design and Analysis to A380 Leading Edge - June 2002

During 2001 INBIS formed an IPT (Integrated Product Team) with Prestwick Aerostructures and AIRBUS at Filton to design part of the A380 Wing Inner leading Edge Structure.

The team was originally based at Filton but is now transferring to INBIS Preston for the next design phase.

With over 70 engineers, the IPT operates in a truly concurrent method to include all aspects of design from concept through to manufacturing engineering and Tool design and supply.

The project will run into 2003 before the team also goes on to study the Heavy Wing Option. Manufacturing will be at Prestwick
