As part of a wider programme of assistance aimed at Egyptian industry, a study was undertaken into the requirements for Egyptian laboratories to conduct testing to European automotive standards. This included the identification of appropriate standards such as EN45000 (European laboratory management standards), individual automotive company standards and accreditation routes in order to provide international credibility.
