The company had developed a high precision, mechanical device and were looking for an assured source of supply through a high volume manufacturer. Our initial approach was to develop a detailed specification covering manufacturing parameters and requirements. From this was developed a supplier assessment matrix that covered the key technical and supply attributes.

Initial research revealed a significant number of potential suppliers within Europe. This list was reduced through further evaluation, telephone assessment and site visit, resulting in 3 organisations being recommended to our client as potential suppliers.
